  1. It's up to the citizens to demand that they're rights are not taken away. Unfortunately, the public is easily lead toward giving up their rights 'for their own good' by politicians who want to appear to be 'doing something'. Obviously, criminals don't obey laws (gun laws or otherwise) and will be more than happy to operate in a world where they can be reasonably confident that their victims are unarmed.

    It's all fine to denounce gun rights until you're a victim.
